Welcome to the Fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous
District 9 in New Hampshire. We are a group of men and women dedicated to carry
the message of recovery to the Alcoholic who still suffers. The purpose of these
pages is to assist and inform on a better way of life in sobriety, one day at
a time.
When: December 24th, 2011 6:00 pm till December 25th– 6:00pm Where: Derry Friendship Center 45 E. Broadway St, Derry, NH Group Time Slots Each group should bring a Big Book (or other AA book) to raffle off at their alcathon meeting. Each group should bring a $25 donation to the District to their alcathon meeting. Each group is responsible for taking a collection at their alcathon meeting and putting it into the envelope for District 9 . Note - both the $25 donation and 7th tradition should go into the same envelope, which will be provided at the Friendship Center. Each group should consider bringing a food donation or can of coffee. Jim M. will speak to Dennis and verify that the $350 fee for the Friendship Center covers those groups that have regular meetings during the alcathon. Please consider attending our Alcathon planning meeting - we will divvy up groups to call to remind of their time slots as well as divvy up coverage over the duration of the alcathon to ensure District 9 presence for the entire 24 hour period. of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other
that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.
The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no
dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions.
A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution;
does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes.
Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety. |
